At least 300 forms, along with additional paperwork and payment, must be completed and submitted to NCDMV by Feb. 15. The Triangle Iotas will submit paperwork and payment.
Upon NCDMV approval, a legislator must sponsor the plate (the Triangle Iotas have a legislator lined up).
Upon approval by the NCDMV & the General Assembly, the Triangle Iotas will submit a final design to the NCDMV.
More information on the NC specialty plate process can be found here.
